It was always a joy to talk with Carl. No matter who you are, you were important to him. My grandson and I went to his place to pick up a couple nucs. He made my grandson welcome, and they talked sports. At the end of our visit, he gave my grandson a queen. I offered to pay, but he wouldn’t have it. He was a great man, we will miss him.
