Beginner Beekeeping Class is designed for new beekeepers and those wanting a refresher.  It will be a six-week course covering The Bee Yard and Basic Equipment, Obtaining and Installing Your Bees, Working Your Hives, Seasonal Activities, Common Problems and Solutions, and Harvesting Your Honey.

The class will begin the week of January 24, 2022, and conclude on March 3, 2022.  The cost will be $20 and is open to all active members.  You must be logged in as an active member to register.  If your membership has expired, you must renew your membership before registering for the class.

Participants must purchase "Beekeeping for Dummies" by Howland Blackiston at their own expense to complete the required reading assignments.  The fifth edition of the book, published in 2020, is available on Amazon for about $20.

After registering, you will receive a welcome email with a complete syllabus and the Zoom Q&A schedule.  The Zoom Q&A sessions will be held weekly on Thursdays at 7:00 pm.  Specific sign-in details for each Zoom call will be sent to all participants one week before each interactive session.
